20 Years Later: A Life Shaped by Yoga
Wow… it’s hard to believe how much time has passed.
Almost 20 years ago, in 2006, I followed a group of friends to my very first yoga class in Santiago, Chile. I had no idea that one decision would completely change the direction of my life. Not even in my wildest dreams could I have imagined where this journey would take me.
It wasn’t instant. It took time, exploration, and even moving to a different country. But five years later, in 2011, everything shifted. I taught my very first Bikram Yoga class in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and that was the moment I truly stepped onto the path I was meant to follow.
From that point on, yoga became more than a practice. It became my way of living.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have found something I love so deeply and to be able to share it with others. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to travel and teach across Latin America and the United States, connecting with so many incredible communities along the way.
Eventually, life guided me somewhere unexpected, North Texas. What was once a temporary stop became home. I settled down, started a family, and stepped into a new chapter filled with growth and opportunity.
Along the way, I continued to evolve as a teacher. I explored new challenges, including participating in a yoga competition, just for the fun of it, and expanded my training into Ashtanga, Inferno Hot Pilates, Inferno Strength, and YOGA-HIIT. Each modality has added depth to my practice and to the way I share yoga today.
And now… a new chapter has begun.
I recently returned from co-leading my very first yoga retreat in Tulum, and it was truly unforgettable. Sharing that experience with such an incredible group of people is something I will always carry with me. The energy, connection, laughter, and support we created together made it so much more than just a retreat, it became a space for genuine connection, growth, and love.
Our first Happy Bubble Yoga Retreats was a success, and we can't wait to do it again! Happy Bubble Yoga Retreats: a space for people to recharge, disconnect from daily stress, and reconnect—with themselves, with others, and with nature. Seeing this vision come to life and witnessing the impact it had on everyone involved has been incredibly rewarding. I’m so excited to share that our next retreat is already in the works for February 2027.
During the retreat, someone pointed out how much joy and excitement I bring to every class I teach. And it’s true—I genuinely love it all. From Ashtanga, to YOGA-HIIT, from Inferno Hot Pilates and Inferno Strength to Original Hot Yoga… each class has its own magic.
What connects them all is the breath. The movement. The focus. The mindfulness.
They challenge you in different ways—but they all leave you feeling stronger, clearer, and more alive.
Looking back, I can honestly say that yoga didn’t just change my life—it gave me a life I love.
And I know this journey is far from over.
