Celebrate 30 years of Breast Cancer Resource Center (BCRC) and honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Art Bra®
Approximately 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime.
The Breast Cancer Resource Center (BCRC) is the only organization of its kind in Central Texas, dedicated to serving persons with breast cancer and others concerned about breast cancer issues since 1995. BCRC's service area includes Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis and Williamson Counties in Central Texas, with a population of 2.7 million. For 30 years, BCRC has been a lifeline for breast cancer patients and their families, offering expert guidance, education, and advocacy. BCRC provides free, comprehensive support to breast cancer patients for life—regardless of income, insurance status, or stage of diagnosis. Last year alone, we served over 1,300 individuals, including a growing number of metastatic breast cancer patients.
BCRC is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a traveling exhibit designed to increase awareness of breast health and showcase their support services. The exhibit, currently housed at the Downtown Austin location, showcases Art Bra®, wearable works of art created by local artists. With the exhibit, you will find vital information on breast health and available services from BCRC.
